So now Im reading on some classic forums that diesel oil isnt good for gas motor especially classics due to the detergants. Any truth to this? Ive been using rotella t6 the last couple oil changes

ok, so looks like ill stick to 5w-40 for my diesels and 15w40 diesel oil for my classics and mowers since it has a high zddp package and they are not used in the cold. I just bought a lot of triax oil for my diesels I gotta use up anyway.

I was told T6 changed their additive package and it is worse. Also some manufacturers of 6.0 injectors won't warranty them if t6 is used thats why I stay away from it. I do use it in my classics though

T6 is known not to be a great oil for the 6.0

So I have several vehicles and more oil brands and types than I care to have. I was looking at the supertech synthetic diesel 15w40. You guys think this would be ok to run in my 2006 f350 6.0 diesel, 2003 vw tdi, classic bronco and mustang, and small equipment? Id love to buy 1 oil and stick to...
