Ford Maverick 2.0 EB Oil Recommendation - Towing

That was the 5.4 2v right? It was known as a more or less bulletproof engine in taxi and police fleet use.

Ford Maverick 2.0 EB Oil Recommendation - Towing

It’s likely why (along with the poorly made Motorcraft filters) that the 5.4 3v got such an undeserved reputation as a motor with poor timing system life. Mine still made it 150k mi with 7500mi OCIs during previous owners before I decided to have the timing system refreshed, though it’s an older...

    Which Bead Breaker?

I’m sure either will work fine. I used HF’s manual tire changer for my Goldwing rear tire and for my Polaris Ranger that had a bead leak. Breaking the beads was the easy part. Getting the tire back on though? Pfft. Even old motorcycle mechanics say they refuse to do Goldwing tires without a...

Going bottom dollar at WalMart tire center tomorrow

That manager at Sears scene sounds like something out of a Will Ferrell movie 😂 Agreed wholeheartedly on the level of professionalism and courtesy I receive at DT. It’s a completely different experience than I’m used to along with very competitive pricing. The typically young tire techs don’t...

    Healthy eating....or so we thought....

Hmmmm, I bet that would lend well to jeans that also fit great for motorcycling. 🤔 Sadly, I’ve never seen a “western” shop here in my neck of the woods (North Alabama). I know there is one down near Troy. I’ll have to do some research in my area and see if I can maybe find something like...

    Healthy eating....or so we thought....

Dude…your legs are 38!? 😂 I hope you’ve never had to travel for work internationally. Economy seats on planes and subcompact rentals would be torture for someone your height!

Ford Maverick 2.0 EB Oil Recommendation - Towing

I have to do similar things with my towing setup, though I keep both my propane tanks topped off. I’m about to move the battery to the rear of the camper (near the distro panel/converter) to get more weight shifted rearward. It gets pretty spartan the further forward of my trailer axles you get...

Going bottom dollar at WalMart tire center tomorrow

Not to mention the other perks like rotations and balancing for the life of the tires. The DT in my town has treated me so well that after I factor in the military discount, I don’t even bother haggling them on tires. They honor their “certificates” with literally no questions asked. My wife...

    Healthy eating....or so we thought....

I’m on the other end of the spectrum, pants-wise. I’m a 32x28. I pretty much have to get everything hemmed. The struggle is real my man.

northern weather not appreciated in Alabama

I didn’t know Henry Cho got married in Arab, lol. That maybe changes the context of his jokes 😅. I had no idea the population of Wyoming was so small! I’ve ridden into and stopped in many small towns with other CVMA folks, and while we may get some concerned looks (a bunch of guys on motorcycles...

northern weather not appreciated in Alabama

I live very close to Arab. It really isn’t like that and you’re not the first person to say it. One family that moved here from Commiefornia said that they were afraid to be near Arab because “it’s a sundown town” and they repeated that during conversation multiple times. I’d never even heard...

Sir, I believe you mistook Alabama for Texas. 😉

    Fram Endurance FE10575 C&P

I believe I had seen somewhere a while back, might have been Overkill or Rdy4war that explained it, that the high amount of moly gets that reddish hue when subjected to heat cycles. I could be wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️
