    Harley-Davidson Moving More Production Overseas!

He lives near me. He’s a pretty cool dude. My boys learned a lot in his mechanical advantage video with the snatch blocks. For a while, they were going around moving all sorts of stuff around the house with pulleys and rope. 😆

Hey @CB900F2 any updates? Did you get all 4 corners done?

    Harley-Davidson Moving More Production Overseas!

We can’t change the tide of business decisions at a personal level. There’s a lot of hand wringing going on about this, but ultimately…do you have any level of control over it? It not, there’s no sense troubling your mind over it. There are MANY motorcycles for sale out there. If you don’t like...

    5w-40 / 0w-40 Success!

With certain climate conditions excepted that is, lol. A 15w for Repairman54’s arctic climate would have him running zero of his equipment. He’s mentioned that equipment of his has been lifted off the ground by the recoil start with heavier cold weather rated oils. 🥶 However, I run a 5w-40 in...

    5w-40 / 0w-40 Success!

Regardless of the cause, an increase in MPG warrants a hearty “congrats!”. I’ve had zero consumption since switching and I’ve done a lot towing in the same conditions that made it guzzle a quart during the trip to Tampa and another quart on the way back. I don’t know what the deal is, but I’ll...

Supertech and other value point oils

I ran it for 20,000mi last run. Changed filter at 10k. It was the first full after draining the factory fill, so I still had break in contaminants in the samples. I drained it and plan to run it for 30,000mi this go around. I’m using HPL V-Twin oil. I still have to change my primary oil every 5k...

Supertech and other value point oils

You do you! I’m glad you keep the oil in tip top shape over the OCI, but I simply can’t imagine changing my oil THAT often. I enjoy doing maintenance on my vehicles, but I enjoy using them just a bit more. There are guys that change oil on their Harleys every 2-3k…it’s a messy ordeal and I...

I’ve heard that Motul’s motorcycle oils smell amazing. Go check out Cycle Gear’s reviews on Motuls bike oils. I kid you not, a large percentage of them are about “the pretty red color” and “the amazing smell” with several reviewers saying they were tempted to taste it because of how good it...

    Valvoline R&P 5W-30, 4K OCI, 2025 Subaru Forester

You threw out an ambiguous “average ownership duration” with no time or source originally. How was anybody supposed to know what you were referring to?

    Valvoline R&P 5W-30, 4K OCI, 2025 Subaru Forester

By average ownership duration, are you referring to the average 3 year span someone owns a vehicle for off the showroom floor?

F-150 payload and towing; within limits?

Good to hear! I’m glad it handled it fine. You’d burn your hand on a vehicle with white paint here whose engine hasn’t run in days. 🤣 We were at 96 yesterday with a heat index of 109. It’s been oppressive as can be here.

    K&N KN-650, KTM Duke 790 , 3k mi

AND drafting an SUV…but it’ll do it! 🤣 Seriously though, I’ve got an intake, full 2 into 1 exhaust and a dyno tune on it. The fastest I THINK I’ve gotten it to is 125-130. The speedo stops at 120 and it’ll get there no problem. It’s a ‘23 with the 114cu in engine in it. Liquid cooling around...

Honda atv, which k&n oil filter fits?

😳 yeah that would have freaked me out lol. If you can find the “racing” filters from HiFlo, they have a little better flow characteristics if that’s important to you, but they also have a removal nut welded to the end of the can.
