I’ve found a plug in module that will override the VATS (Vehicle Anti Theft System) on 1989-1999 Silverados. Does anyone know of a plug in module to override the VATS on 2000 and newer Silverados? If there isn’t one available I will have my mechanic override it by splicing in a variable resistor.

Need to replace the left front wheel hub on my 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 4WD extended cab pickup. Looking at parts online the options are with heavy duty brakes or without heavy duty brakes. The GVWR of this pickup as listed on the inner door placard is 6400 lbs. Please advise. Thanks!
