I have a 1qt bottle of Pennzoil Platinum 5W-20 SM that I was keeping around for top-ups that I never needed. I'd probably use it in my 3 in a pinch, but I haven't needed to top it up in the 4 years I've owned it.
Thanks for the help. I'll stick with the recommended 75w-80 GL-4. That being said, aside from Amazon i'm having trouble finding places locally or online that has this type.
Amsoil does not offer an oil in this weight.
I have a 2012 Mazda 3 2.5l with a 6 speed manual that is right around 75k miles. According to the manual it calls for 75w-80 oil, which as I've discovered is not very common.

Yeah. It kind of slipped through the cracks due to some department changes, layoffs, etc. They want me to just watch after it, drive it around a couple times a month if its not being used.
Got it working today. Added some gas, replaced the batteries and after a few cranks it started up.
Drove it to jiffy lube (per company) changed oil, topped off fluids, filled tires with air.
Now at a tire shop waiting on a rotation and inspection.
