These "all weather tires" vs performance snow tire

Quote: Are you sure? I had TS790 and TS 810 on Octavia, both had snow flake. Yeah, in many countries snow flake is BIG deal. I know that many police officers are going to check pattern, but in Germany in particular, you could have an issue. I know also, god forbid, if you have an accident in...

These "all weather tires" vs performance snow tire

Quote: You forgot one thing. In countries that have strong winters (Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, North Italy, parts of France, Sweden, Norway, etc) except M+S you have to have snow flake sign. If you do not have snow flake sign, when it comes to law, it is like driving on summer...

    Lets see the cars!!!!

Sorry for repeating myself, but the website where I uploaded the pictures initially does not work. My daily driver: Selling the oldest one (it was my first car) was a sad moment. But the young buyer was smiling (his first car). At least it was sold from one Mazda fan family to another...

My thoughts on high mileage oils.

I would appreciate your opinion on my situation: Mazda 3, 2.0 petrol, direct injection, almost 45k miles. Driven mostly urban and highway and maybe 20% country roads, mostly easy driving at lower RPMs. I change the oil every 10,000kms (20,000kms is the highest limit given by the manufacturer)...

I just can't get past the Maxlife stink

Seriously? Smell is an issue? I use Maxlife in my transmission and Maxlife ATF in the power steering. None of them smell much different from other brands. Maybe in Europe they sell Maxlife with different smell. But most importantly as it is closed in the transmission/power steering and as there...

    Assymetrical tires ( Awd )

Here in Europe the asymmetrical summer tires are becoming more and more popular. Many new cars have them from factory and in some dimensions you cannot even buy symmetrical ones. Still, as someone has mentioned already, it is more practical to have asymmetrical then directional because you can...
