Amazon didn't accept my rewards card at first either. Instructions with the card said it would work as a credit card, so I got it to work to buy an Amazon gift card by unclicking the "process as debit card" box. Worked fine after that.

Agreed. Time shift + written record. I'd originally emailed and they emailed back requesting me to call a number they provided. Not that a written record matters, the number of headaches I'm willing to take on over $40 is vanishingly small.

1. Correct specs for my application - my opinion, may or may not match what the MFG says I should use. 2. Mostly brand agnostic but will avoid UltraOnePlus, Triax, and any no name dollar tree stuff. Lesser known but solid brands or store brands are perfectly fine. 3. Whatever costs least.
