You don't say anything about your age but you would enjoy a 42"-48" zero turn. Like was mentioned above, a lower end model with serviceable transmissions would serve you well. Mowing with a zero turn is really worth the extra cost.
How are you determining weaker? Does the machine have steering dampers? I have seen mowers with different feeling steering levers and it was the difference in the dampers. When new my mower had slightly different feel between lt. and rt, steering. After 14 years I replaced each damper and have...
Some of the bans go too far. A guy who owns property in a rural area with the nearest neighbor 1/4 mile away and a yard too large to mow in one charge should be able to buy any gas powered tool he needs. Geography plays a part. Some areas have banned gas generators. Might work until the...
Welcome to the south.
You are probably right that you are going to see many insects. I live in the deep south and use "Ortho Home Defense" to control insects around and in my house. It is available at Ace Hardware. You will just have to get used to "Love Bugs". They swarm twice a year and are a...
Is the Amsoil Zero Turn Hydrostatic Transmission Fluid actually better than the manufacturer recommended 20W-50 motor oil or is it just re-labeled Amsoil synthetic 20W-50 motor oil?
Did you not know the whole world is held together with velcro, duct tape and zip ties? If you removed all of them from my car and house they would all fall apart.
Seriously, we all probably miss use those things and are just lucky we do not hurt something.
I too have been thinking about new vehicles. At my age it would be my last vehicle. I have a 15 year old truck that has been 100% reliable and runs like a top. So far I have not seen anything that really appeals to me. I too balk at all the electronic gizmos.
I guess I am thick headed bur I fail to see how putting a grease fitting on a spindle that has sealed bearings is supposed to work. I replaced the 14 year old spindle bearings on my mower last year. Only one bearing had a slightly rough feeling when you rotated it. The other three were still...
Just ignore it if it is not causing any physical damage. Kind of like the headlight indicator bulb on my Frontier. It simply tells you if the lights are on. If they are on high beam the blue indicator light comes on. The truck will beep at you if you try to leave the lights on when you remove...
