Harassing Phone Calls, up at a new level.

These automated calls are horrible here. Sometimes we get 15-20 per day. I have listed our numbers with the no-call organizations. We have blocked so many number it is unreal. Nothing works. I wish our state would outlaw telemarketing.

Ngk iridiums silzkre7e9 at 56,387 miles

Since you went to the trouble of removing them just put a new set in and go to 100,000 miles. Gives you peace of mind.

    Grease on a 1911?

If i was going to use it I would try Slide-Glide. It is at least promoted by a winning shooter. I have always just used a little oil.

Perfect Circle ring ad from 1937

Remember the days when you could actually work on the engine in the car? Not now, everything in the world is bolted to the engine. I well remember my dad and a neighbor overhauling a motor (rings, rod bearings, valve seals and ground the valves) all while the block remained in the car.

    New Rider - Thoughts

OK, the TimeCutter will work. What engine? Break the engine in on conventional oil. After break in use a good brand synthetic as your regular oil. Change it every year or sooner depending on your usage. I run Amsoil Small Engine 10w-40 and change it each year. Do not wash it after each use...

New Pulsar Generator With Ducar Engine Keeps Shedding Metal

My Pulsar PG12000B looked something like that, but cleared up. By the third load of conventional 30 wt (total of 3 hr run time) the trash was gone. These engines are splash lubed so the pieces are not being circulated under pressure. If I were you I would run one more 2 hour break in run and...

    Aftermarket seat for BigDog C-142

Anybody upgraded their mower seat? I am getting up there in age and the OEM seat is really doing a bad job on my back. I see that there are a lot of upgrade seats available. My main worry is the height change these seats will make. I need the slide adjustment feature and it appears they will...

    Dryer Vent Extension

I would clean the screen vent on the dryer exhaust and keep it in place. Just clean it regularly. If it is left open and the flap does not close properly it is an invasion route for mice.
