Brunswick County NC - Exceptional Drought - Now in Stage 3 Water Restrictions.

If historical trends are any predictors of the future, we're on our way to another round of "dirty 30s".

Why do people buy 1 quart bottles of oil?

+1 Many folks (myself included) purchase premixed coolant for the convenience of not having to mix. It certainly costs more, but I don't care.

Kids are taking my old mower for their first house

A FWD push mower, that's a first for me! 😅 Now that the old one's gone, what did you replace it with?

Younger adults not wanting to move from home for career opportunities

+1 With downsizing being the norm these days, being successful in the career from OP's offer sounds about as likely as a profitable night at the casino.

    Darn mice!

After years of using bait, I never knew what happened to the mice/rats that ate it. They certainly died, but there was no remains anywhere to be found.

I guess Chocolaty is a word now

I've seen this recently too. I generally stick with home-made desserts. At least that way I can be more certain of it's ingredients. As with most things, I'm old enough to know that eventually, things will get better. ....at least that's what I'm telling myself. :cautious:
