    I load all mine. I'm looking for 147gr, that way they're always subsonic and hollow point. I load them for about half the cost of buying them since ammo manufacturers like to charge a premium for 147gr HP ammo.

    People reused cam bearings all the on the SBC. It was very common for them to still be in spec after a hundred thousand miles even if the engine had missed a lot of oil changes and was burning oil.

    Yeah I'm going to drain out as much as I can get, flush, fill it up with water run it for a day drain it and then refill with actual coolant. Universal and organic acid tech is new and doesn't appear to be better. Everyone used the same antifreeze for like 50 years, it worked great, ya change it...

    Chevy 6.5L diesel - why so bad?

    Mine still runs. I rebuilt it in 2009. But I have all the good parts. 6.2L crank, 6.2l heads, 6.5l block, 6.2l intake manifold, 6.2l db2 injector pump. The turbo and intercooler are what kept it going strong.

    Oil filter vs essentially no oil filter with dirty oil. Running the wire mesh trash screen with dirty oil the engine lost 10hp in a hour. Running the boring paper oil filter with dirty oil there was no noticable loss in power.
