I went lump sum with no regrets. My money, my hands on it. The only "annuity" I may receive is Social Security. I wonder which one of us will survive the longest, me or SS.
I remember that from the Nixon era. Living in deep South Texas I wasn't severely impacted.I remember the spots and discussion on nightly national news showing kids going to school in the dark.
DST all year would be my & my wife's preference.
There's a well documented shootout in 1986 Maihat cost many law enforcement lives that set the stage for 38 Special being lumped into the description as underpowered for a law enforcement handgun revolution and "black" semiautomatic carbines in patrol cruisers instead of shotguns. There's no...
I''m running the larger Quaker State 3600 this run, last run I used an Affinia era Carquest Plus. The face velocity in these applications is very low compared to an automobile. It adds about half a quart circulating oil volume vs the spec Koehler filter. YMMV
BP purchased (merged was a gentler term) with Amoco and ARCO in the late 90's - early 'oughts. Between then and now there's been divestitures with other companies picking up the pieces or simply shut down and scrapped.

Thanks but this truck doesn't have a limited slip differential. This 4X4 has a dial for 2WD, 4WD Auto, and 4WD Lock. My take is the 4WD Auto feature negates need for a LSD. I 'ver owned vehicles with a LSD and they required the additive.
A number of fully synthetic gear oils seem to have been...
Thanks all, I've shelved the Lubegard Gear Oil additive for now. I take there's no BITOG members that have firsthand experience with this additive unlike many of the Lubegard products.
A recent post regarding Lubegard prompted me to review their products. I have a rear differential oil change I need to perform on my 2012 RAM Big Horn 4X4. Owners manual states use of a full synthetic 75W-140 GL-5oil.
I picked up 3 quarts of Mobil 1 75W-140 for this purpose at an AAP that's now...
