ok so true BP Diesel Supreme exists in your area ?

There are lots of farmers and fleet owners in my area that think they are getting Diesel Supreme and are not. It appears that this 50+ish cetane fuel was from a unique sweet crude that they had the ability to crack. Normal Diesel 2 is 40 - 45 cetane before any additives- Any of you run into this ?

Sounds like CountryMark takes someones #2 diesel and adds enough cetane improver to bring it up to 50. Do you know who actually refines their base fuel ? They make reference to CountryMark and non-CountryMark terminals, but not where it comes from - ?

For many years I used BP ( Standard Oil ) Diesel Supreme. It always worked well in my olds as well as 2 Mercedes diesels ! In recently checking, diesel 2 is listed as a cetane of 40 - 45. BP advertises a starting diesel supreme cetane rating of a minimum of 47 & up. So - BP was using a better...

The way I read it is that Premium Blue can be gotten in a blend, and a full syn. How in the world are they able to push 50,000 to 65,000 mile change intervals ? Any input from someone actually doing this ?

2011 with 70000 mi now has always used 1 qt per 5000 miles, using Gulf full syn it is GF-5 Or Dexos compliant why does this new engine show so much oil consumption & would it get worse if changing brands?
