Interesting comparison to the previous UOA (Kirkland 0W-20).
Wear metals, viscosity, fuel/soot/water containment essentially unchanged. But an unexpected increase in metal contaminants, namely potassium and sodium.
The only difference in routine was running a bottle of Redline SI-1 through a...
Not a sexy full synthetic oil, but for $4 for a jug, can’t beat it for the jalopies in the fleet.

RA did also recently (month or so ago) have some Carquest Premium 84002 that were relabeled Wix 54002 from the time. Most with holes in the center tube. One or two with louvers. Interestingly enough, the ones I...
Mine showed up today as well. 14 weeks after submission.
$15.86 per 5 qt jug after tax back when they were also doing the 25% off all clearance. $15 rebate per jug, bringing the net cost down to $0.86 per 5 qt jug after rebate. Can’t complain too much, even with that wait.
Currently have some Mobil 1 truck & suv 0W20 from the AAP clearances in it that’s only at like 3k miles, but thinking of swapping over the 5W30 for the summer interval. The Mazda manual states 5W30 for non-US locations, and assume it will give a little better protection in the peak summer
