First oil change for 2015 Civic SI

Check your own oil level weekly. Don't wait for the check engine light to come on. I get on my sisters about this as they just get in the car and drive smh. I check all fluid levels every weekend before I head out to wash my car

Drain High Mileage Oil Filters between Intervals?

I appreciate all of the responses so far. Just curious to see what most folks would say. I think that 69gtx brought up the best point. I never thought about the filter seal after the first use. To break the seal then try to reseal is a valid point. I'm pretty much changing my oil 1/2 times per...

Drain High Mileage Oil Filters between Intervals?

Since I've been away for a few years, things have changed a lot with oil filters as there are so many flavors available now. I haven't really had the need to log in because this site taught me so much stuff AND I have a serious stash of oil and oil filters mainly because of this site (still...

    Mileage vs 6 months advice

I don't subscribe to the 6 months process at all. I have 7 months on my Val ML blend plus 1 qt of AZ syn make-up oil. I have 3800 miles and most of it is stop/go traffic with occasional highway miles every two weeks. I'm going to change it soon only because I need to eat away at my stash.

Would you use free Purolator classics???

What the heck have I missed in the years of my stash!? You guys don't like this filter anymore? I have a ton of PC and Wix filters in my stash. Well I'm not going to throw them away. Will still be put to use as I'm still using oil from the Kmart sale a few years ago.
