They come across as a small company that really cares about their products and reputation. They mostly manufacture water pumps, so kind of a specialty outfit.
I find with their nitrile ADBV's they rattle on startup. Got tired of the rattling so I switched to Fram Ultra, problem solved even when having run that same filter for two years.
I've heard nothing but good things about NPW
water pumps for Japanese vehicles. I believe NAPA even uses them on some Altrom branded parts. Made in Japan which is also a plus.
What about your buddy Derrick with the older Tundra. I remember when you posted that VOA with close to 21k miles with Amsoil OE 5w30 in the sump and no makeup oil I believe. Have you seen him lately?
If the oil sitting in the sump is good then it's good. In fact you may have laid down a tribofilm with it. So go ahead and change that low mileage oil for no particular reason except your need for the warm and fuzzies and strip that film. Doesn't make sense. Engine oil won't degrade by just...
