One of, if not the best oil filter money can buy

Well, that's why I switched to the Fram Ultra. When the rattle was going on I initially believed it was the oil control valve solenoid. When the Fram eliminated the noise for good I was relieved it wasn't the oil control valve but the ADBV. I mean it was literally two years with that Ultra...

Can you change oil filter without draining oil?

    Not really.

Any reason NOT to go with Aisin TKT024 vs OEM Toyota?

They come across as a small company that really cares about their products and reputation. They mostly manufacture water pumps, so kind of a specialty outfit.

I find with their nitrile ADBV's they rattle on startup. Got tired of the rattling so I switched to Fram Ultra, problem solved even when having run that same filter for two years.

Any reason to not use Advics pads over OEM Toyota?

    Post your latest oil change

What about your buddy Derrick with the older Tundra. I remember when you posted that VOA with close to 21k miles with Amsoil OE 5w30 in the sump and no makeup oil I believe. Have you seen him lately?

Old oil, LOW miles: The TRUTH please?!

If the oil sitting in the sump is good then it's good. In fact you may have laid down a tribofilm with it. So go ahead and change that low mileage oil for no particular reason except your need for the warm and fuzzies and strip that film. Doesn't make sense. Engine oil won't degrade by just...

Can a high HTHS ever be detrimental to engine protection?

You're were on quite a roll there Zee, six in a row and all quite informative. Thanks.

I Would Like to Try a 5W30 in my 2022 Pathfinder

Why would 10w30 be better? That's nonsense.
