    Finally a stabilizer for ethanol!

Pri-G is a gasoline preservative called "Pri-G". Many boat/motor-home places carry it, though I ordered my last quart (treats 512 gallons!) via the internet. Dave

    Finally a stabilizer for ethanol!

Pri-G specifically calls out ethanol too. Dave

    Good Gas Stabilizer..

I've had far better luck with Pri-G than I did with Sta-Bil. Dave

    Amsoil P.I. in bulk fuel

+1 on Sta-bil not doing what it's advertised to do. I've been using Pri-G and have been happy ever since (not saying it's better than AST, just that it's better than Sta-bil). Dave

    Motorkote oil additive

Doesn't this board's beloved MMO also contain chlorinated compounds? Dave

    oversize possibility?

You can double your available choices with a cheap 'adapter'. See my old post on how I'm using filters with a 3/4x16 thread on my M20x1.5 threaded car. If you've got room and the gasket seals, you could run something as large as the M1-301. Dave

    PureOne filter over spray.

I assume OP means some of that gold gritty stuff is on the inside?

    Car fires...

A bad spark plug leading to unburned fuel pushed through exhaust. This can get the cat white hot. Dave

    2005 Subaru auto,Amsoil

I've had it in my '02 Outback sedan for about the past 50k miles (110k on it now). Shifts are smooth as new. I get 4qts when I drain (it holds 10), so I change 4 every 15k miles, and changed the filter @ 60k. I cross referenced the OEM trans filter to a regular oil filter, Amsoil of course would...

What New Car or SUV ??

2010 Subaru Legacy is NOTICEABLY larger than 2009 and previous. We've got one, it's our 6th Sube. The biggest difference in size appears to be headroom (both our Subaru sedan's have sunroofs, but the 2010 still gives more headroom) and back seat legroom. Dave

    Calling On Subaru Owners Please?

We actually just picked up another one today, a '10 Legacy GT If only they made 3/4 ton trucks! I bought my first one (a Justy) in '89, and except for the truck in my sig, haven't bought anything else since. Now we just need to pare down the fleet and get rid of the '97.

How often do you change the airfilter??

I replace ours every 30,000 miles, as recommended in the owners manual.

Why no 5qt jugs of 5W40 & 15W40? Price Coercion?

My truck takes 12 quarts, that's um.., oh, yeah, 3 gallons. Also, on most big rigs, the amount required to bring a dipstick reading from 'add' to 'full' is one gallon. Dave
