hi guys, i have a question..i have a European Civic turbodiesel with an idtec 1.6 liter engine. the recommended oil would be a 0w30 with a kinematic viscosity of 10.3 at 100c and 55 at 40c. indeed these are the values of castrol 0w30 professional H, an oil engineered in collaboration with Honda...

thank you for all your comments... i think that, as i don't want to waste the 5 liters of 0w20 Fuchs that a friend of mine gave me, I have decided to blend this 0w20 with a 5W30 always from Fuchs.. I have to put 5 liters inside the engine..i think I will use 3,5 liters 5W30 and 1,5 liter 0w20...

In their oil chooser app, you can select the previous version of my civic always turbodiesel and you will find also the 0w20 grade. Further, i sent an email to their technical offices and they confirmed that i can use it. I have only to pay attention to the oil level in the first kms...but there...

Fuchs Titan 0w20 for a Civic 1.6 turbodiesel

But without taking into account all the warranty issues, i'd like to know whether the 0w20 grade might be harmuful for my engine...dont we focus on the warranty but on the engine..also considering my future oil changes..

Fuchs Titan 0w20 for a Civic 1.6 turbodiesel

Yeah..i think i will mix some oil 5w30 grade of the same company with the 0w20..just to be sure... are there evident advantages in terms of torque and hp with a thinner oil?

Fuchs Titan 0w20 for a Civic 1.6 turbodiesel

if you go in Fuchs oil chooser page, they recommend for my engine both the 0w20 and the 5w30. I have these doubts because a friend of mine gave me 5 liters of this oil (0w20) and as i have to change the oil...I was wondering whether it is a risk...for the summer...

Fuchs Titan 0w20 for a Civic 1.6 turbodiesel

Hi, I have a Honda Civic 1.6 Turbodiesel, 120 hp, bought in 2014 with 7000 km. In the owner's manual the recommended oil grade is 0w30, c2 or c3. My question is: would it be harmful for the engine's wear or for other possible problems using the Fuchs Titan 0w20? is it too thin for my engine? I...
