Maybe not. Considering the low price they paid to get the brands that were in the purchase, they should do quite well. If they can get Fram filters back on the market and back in Walmart they should be able to make the purchase price back easily.
If Fram does become a PGI internally I don't really see that as bad. PGI has so far been shown to make and or supply quality filters and the idea of being able to do so here in the US seems like a win win to me.
Premium Guard announced on June 17 that they had completed phase 2 of the acquisition of Fram and other brands from First Brands. The statement said that they were going to merge the the Albion Illinois and the Greeneville OH facilities and keep around 300 jobs. They also leased a 730,000...
If there is a TSB start there. If that isn't it it could very well be
The PCM/ECU. They will sometimes cause problems for months if not longer before completely quitting.
There is already an invention for this.It is called a plastic funnel. As has been said, what debris is going to get in a filter out of a new container of oil?
One problem with your premise of it costs the most is just that. Fram at one time made quality products and that was not very long ago. When Jay Buckley (Motorking) was at Fram and a frequent visitor and poster here Fram had some pretty good filters and a very good price too. There are millions...
WM is not a company that has much of any stock in their stores. they are more of a put it on the shelf as it comes in type. That is one reason they run out of stuff, they don't have it stocked in the store in a stock room. First Brands is is in a huge financial mess at the doing of it seems...
Search on the bottle or jug for a set of numbers that start with a letter. It should be either red or a light yellow gold color. It may be hard to find if it is their. Look on the front and back near the bottom or just under the labels. If it has the numbers and it starts with a "G" it is...
Most likely you don't know unless the manufacturer wants you to know. That is one thing about Highline Warren, they have been pretty good at giving information about their oils.
It meets the same standards as raw oil does after being processed. If it is a group 3 it is the same as a group 3 that has came straight from the ground.
