have a 1994 thunderbird that the tech @ wm said held 4 quarts of oil then the other tech said it holds 6 quarts due to the deep oil pan I have on it and they said it is not a 4.6 but a 5.0 how do I tell the difference between the 4.6 & 5.0 and how much oil do they hold??? ANY IDEAS ???

I have a 1994 ford thunderbird sc with a 4.6L it will do 110 with no problem, now to the problem does anyone know how much oil a 4.6l holds? I am no mechanic but it has to hold at least 5-6 quarts right?
