I am definitely well educated now, just never used the term AKI until now. :) What i've been seeing all along at the US pumps showing this MINIMUM OCTANE RATING (R + M) / 2 METHOD , is also known as AKI = minimum octane rating for unleaded motor fuel, #'s we see at the pump! So, by "octane"...

So, 100 AKI is around 100 octane?

From what i read, is that 100 AKI translates to around 100 octane in US (R+M)/2 ? Thanks.

Hello, What would i put in at the (E85) Octane? I too am looking to use local Sheetz E85 pump gas. Why don't they put the minimum octane rating label on their E85 pump like they do on their E15 which is rated minimum 88 octane ????? Thanks.
