    Rotella shortage?

Home Depot is where I got mine. They are usually a dollar more expensive than local Walmart and they don’t ship. You have to pick up at your local store after you order it online. But they don’t seem to have problem keeping rotella in stock and you can see how many bottles available at your...

Lucas marine grease after 12 months

So I have Lucas marine grease in brake slack adjusters for a little less than 12 months and the old grease coming out in kind of dark brown olive color. Should I keep using it or switch to some other grease?

    Grease with better corrosion protection

Mobil centaur xhp 462 case of 10 for $60 shipped on ebay The auto slack adjusters can’t take any moly grease because it will cause slippage on the internal clutch. It is just more convenient for me to grease everything underneath with a single grease gun with non moly grease.

    Grease with better corrosion protection

No but I know what rusty grease will look like with water contamination. The muddy color just don’t give me too much confident. Sometimes you just know something is not right. I don’t need to see water to confirm corrosion problem. I will try Mobil centaur (Also another calcium sulfonate) non...

    Grease with better corrosion protection

The red grease is liquid wrench marine grease (also calcium sulfonate)which I haven’t used before but I have a case of 10. Blue grease is Lucas marine grease. Last fall I purged all the old grease out (Also dark blue color and been in there since new for 3 years, no idea what brand or type) with...

Last fall I greased all of the outboard brake cam bushings on 10 trailers with Blue Lucas marine grease ( calcium sulfonate). Last week I re greased and all the old grease came out looking like mud. I am looking something else that will give better corrosion protection and readily available...

    DD 60 series 12.7L, 6.1k miles, Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15w40

You can pretty much just smell the oil to be able tell if you have any fuel dilution in a Diesel engine. Don’t really need any uao.

Rotella T4 15W40 Vs Mobil Delvac 1300 Super

As far as I can remember (as far back as at least 10 years) delvac has always been 1 to 2 dollars cheaper than rotella t 15w40 per gallon at Walmart. The oil change place I go always charged the same for either delvac or rotella bottled oil so I have always picked rotella just because.

Old CI-4plus and Ch-4 still good

I think egr engines need as least a ci4 grade oil. Ch4 oil is only good for pre egr engines. And most Diesel engines have egr after 2003 so are you sure the ch4 oil is not at least 17 years old already?

    Final charge global extender

Also have half a jug of converter don't know if it is still good.

    Final charge global extender

Is this already obsolete since peak doesn't list this on their website anymore? I been adding new coolant to the system lately due to a leak in the water pump so I probably don't need it and I am ready to put it in to trash.

Akenono ProAct vs Akebono Performance vs Raybestos Element 3 EHT vs Wagner OEX

I also have a 07 rav4 in NYC with the akebono proact pads. They really last a long time. I am still on the set of pads installed from 2013 and 70000 miles ago. Looks like it still has at least one more year left. And the rotors are also in prefect condition. Brake dust is almost none.
