mg 1 and 2 temps normal

Towed 300 miles at 75 mph. No problems., All temps on my scan Guage were normal. Plenty of power and still averaged 27 MPH. I am impressed.

So save .05 cents per tank for a higher risk of many $$$$ in an engine repair? Not me....

Going on my first long towing trip of 300 miles next weekend. I have a scangauge 3 so I will monitor all temps closely. So far the only thing I dont like is the boxer shake and rattle on cold starts. I take a 30 min lunch break in the car and with the hybrid system the shake can get fairly strong.

Try the 2025 and newer. Think you would be surprised.

What years was the Subaru’s? I know the early ones had problems. I bought a 2026 and, in my view, it's better than the new Toyotas. Very nice quality.

I just reached 1000 miles so did a brief test run Pulled my 800# trailer great plenty of power and no problems with wind buffing no problem merging All temps normal Will post on a longer trip I’m impressed

Use 75w-110 too

The Nissan Differnatal is not that great on the older trucks. I didn't change till 50000 miles and didn't know about the junky Nissan vent. It started making noise at 110000 miles and died at 150000. change the oil regularly

I use a 75W110, I would add a differential vent tube with a filter. the OEM tend to freeze full open or close. Ask me how I know...

I just bought a 2026 Forrestor Hybrid. On a side note, the "boxer" shake on startup takes some getting used to. Also had a about 3 to 5 sec "diesel" rattles. I guess it's the direct injection. Otherwise, been great. Ive heard the boxer engine is nosier on cold startup. Is you boxer cold on startup??

260000 miles on my 2015, water pump fine. Engine is smooth and quiet! Mostly HWY miles until recently.
