    Crazy thing was there were these ventless style 78's along side more traditional group 78 Johnson Controls cases with the recessed caps...all with date codes of 11/19 and 12/19. All in the same display.

    Everstart Maxx ID help

    Just picked up a new Everstart Maxx group 78 battery today, it doesn't have any vent caps but the sticker says JCI and distributed by Clarios. It looks identical to the East Penn cases I've seen at O'Reilly on their Super Start batteries. Could this be an East Penn, using the wrong part number...
