Forgive my ignorance, but wouldn't ESP meeting the requirements of 504 00 mean that it complies with the intake valve deposit limit? Or have you generally found that the FS 0W-40 engines have cleaner valves despite the different specifications?

Right, but the media is still slightly less efficient than the PGI units so all things being equal I'd go with the latter.

Mobil 1 filters have a less efficient media than the PGI 10k units, don't they?

Is there a general consensus on what temperatures you should be switching to a 0W- instead of a 5W-30? It gets cold here, but not quite Alaska cold...

How many OCIs have you run on Valvoline Restore and Protect? It seems pretty well documented on here that most folks experience a temporary increase in consumption before it gets better.

I understand that the price increases are completely out of their control, but man that stuff is expensive now ☹️
