I picked up an Ultra air filter for my Pilot. I've mainly used Extra Guards on this car and have always been happy with their quality. However, this Ultra appears to be more cheaply made than the EG; less pleats, bowed out gasket, thinner plastic frame. I wasn't able to look at it in store...
I once got quotes from mobile mechanics for some suspension work. Their prices were slightly better than / same as those of an actual shop. They also didn't inspire much confidence when talking with them. Like you and others said, at least with a real shop you have some recourse if there are...
In my Lyriq, I do this and also use the myCadillac app. I find it does a good job with route planning and charge stops.
I have a NACS adapter so I also use the Tesla app.
There are a lot of brain dead people sharing the roads with us. I used to also flash such drivers but have given up and just go around them as quickly as possible.
I only replaced a rad cap once and that was because it was leaking.

Do your due diligence thoroughly inspecting any used car but unless he tried driving it off the repo truck after it was hooked, it's likely fine (in that regard, at least).
My cars are all parked outside so the blades take a beating from the sun & snow. I've experimented with a bunch of blades and found cheapie ones start chattering in like 3-4 months whereas more premium hybrid / beam offerings from Denso, Rainx & Trico last 1+ yrs.
I took a walk around the neighborhood to enjoy all the snow we got over the weekend. I live in a condo (more like a townhome since it's not multistory but they call it a condo). I noticed many of my neighbors' roofs had ice dams. Mine does not any.
I'm curious as to why. Is my unfinished attic...
Rode in a 2025 (maybe 2026?) and it had a pretty bad shudder around 25-35 mph and then at 55. Felt a lot like TC shudder but this gen has an eCVT. Didn't expect that on such a new car but I suppose anything is possible.
