The temperature can reach as low as -20F or -30F a few times a year. I do use a block heater when a plug in is available. Typically the temps are around 10 to -10F.

My report: This sample was taken during a rather harsh winter, during which my block heater quit working. I'm assuming some of the higher wear metals are due to this.
