I replaced the drivers side axle in my '05 Accord a year ago this month, with a new Cardone 🙀. Put about 8k miles on it since installation, and all well. For about $40 from RA, it was worth the gamble to me.

Why do they need to be adjustable? Too much negative camber by design, or is something worn?

Yes, plenty of choices. The seals are torn, and the pistons rusted. So at this point, I think a whole caliper is in order.
