Hm could've sworn I saw the Rotella gas truck rebate include purchases from Walmart and Amazon a couple weeks back -- especially since I saw the Pennzoil rebates currently don't include either store. I decided to wait on purchasing and now I don't see them listed anymore So far all of these oil...

Hm unfortunately the Pennzoil rebates this year don't include any recognizable participating stores near me, though the PUP's normal price is about $4.20 / quart for me. Mobil1 at costco comes out to around $4.78 / quart. I read earlier in the thread that the Shell Rotella gas truck 5w-30...
Thanks for the information all! Whenever my next oil change comes up I'll most likely pick up more Pennzoil Plat or Ultra Plat depending on availability and if there are any rebates, or Mobil 1 from costco. There's not necessarily any detriment to using one oil for one change and a different oil...
I actually took my car into the dealership for its very first oil change today and asked about the oil they put in. I was told they're putting 5w-30 conventional in it. I asked whether they had synthetic in 5w-30 and apparently they didn't. I think afterwards I may just do the oil changes myself...

I use Pennzoil Ultra Plat on my 2009 Mazda3, and recently got a CX-5 Signature and after reading the responses here, figure it should be good as it pretty much its on most of the requirements for a good oil for turbo...
