i have the 02 pathfinder. pretty good vehicle. but the main problem i had was the idle air control valve. not too hard to repair but it can fry the ecu and its an expensive repair. also happened without warning. had to drive 200 miles home using gas and brake so i wouldnt shut off

i just got a call from the dealer and even they are stumped. he said the vent system is fine and the tank and filler neck look ok. besides a aftermarket gas cap which may or may not be the problem he cant find anything. the vehicle is an 2002 tahoe 5.3
