bottom freezers arent as efficient. cold air falls so the fridge wil be constantly effecting the temp of the freezer.

for an all around hunting and defense gun. i would probably pick a semi auto 22 its not great at either but can do either is reasonably quiet if you need it to be and its cheap for ammo.

how about valvoline synpower? excellent wear numbers and valvoline is a great company. of the two you picked i would probably say mobil 1 based on long term results.
