I have about 18-24 month supply right now. I know oil is supposed to be good for 5 years but I do worry about additives falling out kf suspension. I do shake the bottles once a month or every chance I remember but I’m leery of buying more right now.

No we know the factory oil grade is not put in engines with anticipation of shearing down, at least in the us, as it’s more of a selection for max fuel economy

I think the clear winner now is esp. 8 bucks a jug cheaper than ultra platinum is not insignificant imo. Is it a huge deal? Probably not. I mean probably add 40-50 bucks a year difference...
Just checked my Walmart and ultra platinum jumped to 39.97 from 29.97. Esp jumped from 27.97 to 31.97. If that price holds I’ll just stick to esp over the ultra platinum after I deplete some of my current stock. Valvoline Restore and Protect jumbled to 35.97
