i dont know if it is the same for the 04, but on my 96, standing in front of the truck, i can reach under the ac compressor with a band type oil filter wrench (if not too tight, i can get it off by hand) and loosen it. Quickly spin it off.. as soon as it unthreads all the way, flip it right side...
