Okay. I'm probably more concerned about oil weight than I need to be. This thing has made it to 220k already and i'm sure they used the cheapest 5-30 they could find.

I am just curious to see if anybody else is running this in a stock-ish second gen small block? I do realize this is quite a bit thicker than the recommended 5w-30, but I feel like it would be a lot more robust and have a better acceptance to heat. I don't drive the car during the winter, so...
