Just wondering in it's in a 4.2l F150, but after reading some threads on here I started to think..so thought Id ask. Really, I just want to know it will get me thru my hunting trip(about 600mi round trip) in 2 weeks. ETA: It's not the EP M1 just the regular M1

Is this too long of a time span or can I go another month? The vehicle is NOT beat on. Is the oil braking down due to age?

I think in my state about a year ago it was signed into law that all gas had to have a 10% ethy mix. I say I think because Im not sure if it was overturned yet..but it was signed into law. ETA: Boat owners are not happy bout that one.

It seems to always be the cheapest at the locations around me. Would you consider it a top tier gas or cheapo gas?

Well, I went with the Valvoline Maxlife(blend) and have about 500 miles on the oil and cant really tell if it's slowing down the oil consumption. It still has not needed any oil yet....I think in the next 500-1000 miles I will know. ETA: the PCV valve still looked good.

Have not noticed a difference, since switching from M1 to Maxlife. Im hopping the the ML will reduce oil consumption. My MPG display is reading the same numbers as it was with the M1.

I had to replace 2 of mine so far on my 07 F150. Which resulted in flat tires....The last one happened while driving.

Thanks guys...I have about a month to think about it, before the next change. Im kind of leaning towards the Valvoline Dino HM.
