Honda MTL = 10w30 motor oil?

From another forum, there was a question about manual tranny fluid changes on Hondas. Him: Just out of curiosity, has anyone mentioned what honda uses for MTF in these cars? I know, but I think it is funny to see the look on peoples faces when you tell them..... Me: Please enlighten us. Him...

Auto-RX stopped my cam seal leak!

It took me like 45 minutes to replace the cam cap on my 2001 Type-R, but it is a very big hassle. I'm sure your oil consumption dropped a lot after this, as I was leaking quite a bit through the exhaust cam seal. The seal itself isn't $30, but it ends up being like $20 because I also got the new...

Fluids for '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L?

I heard something about that the differential needed special dealership fluid. I know sometimes this is BS, but one of my old cars was a Honda automatic which actually DID require the ATF-Z1. Is this additive really required?

Fluids for '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L?

Whoops, it might be 5.9L. I will report later with the manual's specifications. It's the largest engine they offered, I believe.

Fluids for '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L?

I really know nothing about this car, as it is a temporary vehicle since my 2001 Acura Integra Type-R got stolen and stripped, and I'm in the market for an AP1 Honda S2000. In the meantime I'd like to take care of this vehicle as best as I can, especially because my brother who was in charge of...

    Ordered Auto-RX

Good choice. I had excellent results on my 2001 Integra Type-R. Be careful with your car! I've had two Integras stolen in two years. I don't want to be indirectly the cause of death of ANOTHER Type-R Integra so I'm done with them now. Fantastic cars, though! Do you have an LS/GS-R/Type-R...

Should I fog the Aerostar--big carbon buildup and knock

Why not use Seafoam in this case? The Seafoam Deep Creep is an aerosol spray can, and would serve your needs nicely. It seems to emulsify the carbon better than water in most cases.

600 miles to go on ARX rinse, and guess what....

Both the OP and the first replier: Please post this in the AutoRX Results Megathread so users can see that its working for you guys! It helps to have a database of all the BITOG users who have used the product. Thanks! I wonder how much $ this will save now that your leak is gone.

    Specialty Forumlations vs RP

****, if my Integra Type-R hadn't been jacked I would have thrown some SF in there. I guess the S2000 might get a little treat in the future... Good review, glad everything worked out.

    Auto-Rx

What kind of car is it? That light shouldn't be telling you to change your oil, its probably telling you that you're low on oil, or have low oil pressure.

    Auto-RX MEGATHREAD

I thought I'd bump this to the top once to allow people to add their experiences, and also to serve as a reference item for those who are curious about trying ARX.
