Wow, what atrocious work. I had mine done by an XPEL certified installer and have a 10-year warranty, and my installation was flawless.

To my understanding, this was an issue with the Chevy Malibu for the 2016-2017 model years, which has been corrected. He's wasting everyone's time pushing this outdated information.

I saw the new M1-113A at Walmart recently. I could tell immediately by the classic Purolator style base plate, but it seemed to have some heft to it, and all of the labeling and packaging appear to be the same.

I remember the opening of a Jiffy Lube in my home town many years ago. It was the first time I had ever seen one, and as I crossed the street one morning to stop by the diner for breakfast, a kid rode up on a bicycle to open the doors for business that day.

You may also want to consider XPEL. There are several installers in San Antonio, including a Corporate Install Shop. I had XPEL installed on a new vehicle a couple of years ago, and have been completely satisfied with the result.

It looks like GM has made some changes to the UPF64R filter. The color is now black, and the ADBV appears to be nitrile instead of silicone, and the bypass valve has been revised to the nylon poppet style. Also, the part number has changed from 12674698 to 12699847. Perhaps 53' Stude will get...
