Gosh here in GA where I live now. Some of the traffic lights I encounter every day are three freaking minutes long! It's ridiculous 🙄

My wife had a 2015 Buick Encore with a 1.4 liter turbo. It was flat on its face on 87 octane. So I ran the mid grade in that as well. But that was a turbo. So it was understandable.

But your juke is turbo charged the kicks is not. That's why I'm trying to figure out why it runs better on the 89 octane. And does pull hills better I don't care what the haters say.

Well, we were leasing a maxima. And liked that car very much. But very hard car to get out of...wow! Try getting out of one of those sometime. Especially when you're over 50. Anyway we both decided we wanted a small nice little suv. We test drove the Rogue (still too large for us) I didn't care...

I bought a 2020 Nissan Kicks SR. I noticed pretty quickly that the little 1.6 liter motor struggled a bit getting up to speed. And passing on the interstate. So I first tried Shell 89 octane. I Immediately Noticed it was much peppier. And transmission was also smoother. Then for the heck of it...

I heard about the oil filters and also the cold start issues in a very cold climate. Thanks for the heads up again re; the oil filter.

Yes I had noticed the older 1.6's called for 5-30

Not here in GA. It is mostly Nissan's and Toyota's. And of course a lot of pickups of various brands.
