I'm hoping this picture from my trip to the Smoky Mountains shows up. I took it while on the Blue Ridge Parkway just leaving the Park.

With 400 horsepower to the rear wheels in my WS6, I have to make sure that I am pointing in the right direction before I stomp the go pedal! Sure is fun though.
In a way it is sort of a takeoff of what Ben Franklin had to say: (I like #8)

Way to go Patman!! I know you have been waiting a long time for the C5. I think the '98 LS1's got better gas mileage than the newer ones with the LS6 intake. I remember you got good mileage with your LS1 and the 98 A4 Z28 I had got 28 mpg. Not bad for a car that was limited to only 160 mph.
There was a show in the mid to late '50's Called Gray Ghost. It was a Civil war show. Theme song was The Yellow Rose of Texas. I always liked that one.
I did always like Bonanza, Rawhide, Secret Agent Man, Pink Panther, & the Lone Ranger. All good.

I'm with you on the Tour de France. I have been following it every year for at least 25 years. There have been some great champions but Lance is right there with the best of them.
It will be tough on him this year, everyone will be gunning for him.
I believe since his divorce he has been dating...
Would you rate Penzoil Long Life in there anywhere? I just put some in my LS1 yesterday. Normally with Mobil 1 10-30/15-50 mix I would have some piston slap for about a block when I first started it up in the morning. This morning it was nice & quiet.

The following is an excerpt from the July 1943 issue of Transportation

the workforce during World War II - a mere 57 years ago! Obviously, the
intent was not to be "funny," but by today's standards, this is

A few years ago the Ruths Chris in San Antonio, TX was really nice. The food was excellent and the service was too. Picked us up at the hotel on the Riverwalk in a van and brought us back later. Expensive but a very nice experience.
That rabbit of Caerbannog was one bad rabbit. Unless of course you have the Holy Handgrenade.
"And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall...
That seems like an excellent price for a dyno tune Patman! If you can get your car into the 13.4x range that would put you with a completely bone stock LS1. My 2002 WS6 ran 13.41 on its maiden run and my old 1998 Z28 ran a 13.54 and that is at sea level in Houston Raceway Park.
