Well they did dismount the tire to patch it and rebalance it. The marks weren't there when I rolled it into the store...trust me.
It just sucks that you have to sound like an [censored] during the check in process explaining how you are anal, and ask if they can do the work without putting any scratches in the wheel or car. Normally I do it but didn't today because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Back to...
I would highly recommend that...they have one guy there that knows I expect them back to me in the same condition I bring them. Unfortunately he wasn't there today and I didn't want to bring it back to get the nail removed. You shouldn't have to tell the tech/staff that you expect them to be...
Had a nail in the tire on my 16 Jetta GLI and needed to get it repaired fast so took off the wheel last night and dropped it off this morning at our local Discount Tire. Figured I would wait for it instead of running to work then back 30 min later. Wheel was in perfect shape other than a few...
Just received a 5 quart jug of the Pennzoil Euro 0w-40 from WalMart online and the jug is leaking not from the top but along the seam of the jug. Kind of disappointing and might have to transfer it into something else prior to my oil change in the coming weeks.
Was there from 10:30am Friday until about 2pm on Sunday. Fun weekend as it always is. Crowd size was up a bit over last few years it seems...but still is small enough that you can basically go wherever you want without mobs of crowds. If you are a sports car racing fan you have to experience it...
Nice looking car...It will be interesting to see the new GLI release in the coming weeks. I grabbed a white 2016 Jetta GLI SEL-manual in October with 19,000 miles as a potential car my daughter might inherit when she gets her license in three years. Paid $18,000 plus tax and it is in really good...
I had a Scat Pack Charger and it didn't use a drop of oil and it was driven hard. First few changes I think I did the SRT oil but when realized it wasn't using any oil on first few changes switched to Mobil 1 0w-40 on third change and later. Engine noise was exactly the same and no change in...

I am looking at purchasing a 2016 Jetta GLI and previous owner lived in Idaho and it appears he/she had to drive on sand covered roads because the clear headlight covers are sand blasted pretty bad. The paint has some chips too but I think I can live with touching them up and giving it a good...
I have a 2016 Scat with about 18,000 miles. I ran the SRT 0-40 pennzoil the first two oil changes but got lazy and ran Mobil 1 0w-40 on this oil change. Filter of choice has been Fram Ultra XG2 for me. Car uses no oil. I would change it at 1k since it was sitting for so long. Enjoy the car and...
Best part of the video was the end when he was driving through the infield. Hey idiot on your phone clueless to my presence how about some straight pipe V8 rev about 2 feet away from you. Loved it.
I think it's a good oil. I have run it in various vehicles over the years with no issues. It is currently in my wife's Durango Citadel with the Pentastar. Used it almost exclusively previously in our Mazda CX-9. And us midwesterners can get it cheap at Menards when it goes on sale.
For whatever it's worth I did a track day in my 15 wrx at Road America and I believe the highest oil temps I saw was just under 240. I think I was running the old Ultra back then. I think I brewed it at 1/2 5-30 and 1/2 5-40. WRX oil cooler works pretty well.
