No oil leaks. No blue smoke. The only sign of oil consumption is on the dip stick. It has been using 1 qt about 700 to 1000 miles,it veries from time to time. I'll probably try 30wt for summer and use 10w40 or 10w30 in winter.This car has more than paid for its self w/250,000 on the the clock...

Will 10w40 really help with oil consumption( compaired to 10w30 of the same brand,weather it be conventional or synblend or syn),or will the VII break down and just not help?

Is'nt that a lot of moly for supertech? I also saw Wne on the bottom of supertech bottles at my local store, they were also shaped differant.

I'm not trying to hijack this thread here but I had a few questions. 1 How accurate is the noack testing? 2 Could the Castrol gtx really done that good compaired to the others? 3 I wonder why the did'nt have Maxlife or Valvoline ac in the test? (would love to how maxlife did compaired to others)
