My boat is a 1995 Cobalt w/7.4 BBC and VP DP290 outdrive. When looking in the manual, this out drive calls for Gl-5 spec full synthetic marine lube. Why do they specify full syn. 75/80wt. marine lube for this dual prop out drive? Talking to boat mechanics, and on boat forums, I got the same...
