For me, $0.45-$0.57* CAD per Kilometre. Based on the Nissans' , Ford, VW Passat we have or had. *The 2004 Passat Wagon was the most expensive one at $0.57 CAD per Km - as recently as 2018 data.
I buy a $300 cell phone with full awareness that it will be outdated in less than 6-8 months. I keep it 28-30 months then upgrade. The pace of improvements is so fast, it would really scare me to spend 60K on a EV and have it resemble my cell phone pattern.
I've had a Weishi for about 10 years now, it does help but you really need to know the lift angle for the movement. Using the wrong LA will affect the accuracy of the data output by the timing machine. The website https://calibercorner.com/ will help you find what you need.
I'll add some comments to the thread based on your points.
1. The rebuilt units on efay are all from China, they have prices from $400 USD to $600USD and I doubt they are worth the risk. I watched a Russian YT video of someone rebuilding the coupler for a Nissan X-Trail, same basic unit as mine...
Yes on both. I remember his frequent visits to Vancouver and staying at the Bayshore Inn - renting the whole floor. Vancouverites only learned about his visits after he'd been there for about a month. No internet back then.
That's the coupler. There will be options, a lower kilometre used unit, or I just pay the dealer price. I like the QX60 and I usually keep my cars 10 years min, so not interested in trading it.
