Our 60 series run on Delo 10w30 with no bypass filtration run 32kand drains along with the ISX. Mack E-7 and ACET operate on 28k drains with factory spinner. We currently have some older E7 engines with over 1.9 million on them without pulling heads or pan off.

As far as a HDEO killing cats I personally seen in excess of over 100 fleet vehicles running LS GM engines go over 300k with orginal cats still installed

Even with our EGR and DPF equipped 60 series and ISX's we run 32000 miles drains with Delo 400. EGR equipped Macks run 27000 miles. We have engines with well over 1 million miles on them and have not been touched internally. It does a great job keeping the soot in suspension.

The highest I have ever seen the PB was 3 ppm while running JD Plus-50 0w-40 with this engine.

The oil is now CI-4+ rated. So warranty will not be an issue. The truck has a Quad race box installed.

I work for a JD dealer. Unless you are going to run the unit in colder temps. 15w-40 is the preferred oil for the engine. We have 100's of the little Yanmar engine out in service that have ran JD Plus 50 oil in the them with over 5000+hrs and no problems.

Get the 10-30 out of the crankcase. The engines will have extra blowby until fully broken in. How much KW is the engines running at? Go ahead and change out the oil and install the Schaeffer 7000.

I agree with Larry also. I was a gen. tech for a Cat dealer for several years before moving over to a prime power plant. If you do not have enough base load to fully load the engines or at least 75%/750*F exhaust temp. at the turbo, the units will at least need to be load banked once a year to...
