3-4k used either Castrol Edge Napa FS or Valvoline Extended Protection. I have had the car for about 50k miles. It started around 60k I switched to Valvoline Restore and Protect around 70k.

I have 2017 Outback 80k. It was using 1/2-1qt every 3k. I’m on my 3rd Valvoline Restore and Protect closing in on 3k and no oil burned.

I replaced this one with one made in Vietnam it has a silicone gasket.

Yes it had an orange ADBV. I cut a new one open the other day. For what ever reason did not take pictures. But it did not have a silicone valve. It was also made in china.

Filter off 2017 Subaru Outback with 79k. 4K OCI. Had Napa FS 5w30. Filters made in china looks good to me. Nap gold went back on but that one is made in Vietnam with Valvoline Restore and Protect. I’ll post the C&P they next OC.
