    The Air Tool Argument

I use both and don’t care what others use but I just want to address something I read in the OP: “Cordless tools die after a couple years” That hasn’t been the case for me. I have lots of cordless tools that are 10 years old or more and still work fine.

    Drill-Operated Fluid Transfer Pump

I had one and wasn’t impressed at all with the function. Slow, low suction, kinda a pain to deal with. I ended up getting a pump from Amazon that uses my M18 battery’s. Works quite good.

2004 Acura MDX wiring repair - need advice

I’ll probably get roasted for this but IMO solder has no place in automotive applications. I used to use it a lot thinking it was superior to crimping but went down a rabbit hole of researching solder vs properly crimping joints and have been using open barrel crimps since then.

Reusing Oil Filter during Oil Change, but Dumping Old Oil Out?

Sure does, $10 a day doesn’t sound like much but compounded monthly at 7% annualized growth is over $350k after 30 years ..

    Benelli M4?

I’ve had a M4 with and without the pistol grip, no affect on use or function, can’t go wrong with a M4. However, as many others here already said, I also would recommend a 1301, better in most if not all aspects. However, if he’s set on a M4 that’s fine too.

    Stocking Up On Motor Oil

About a year ago I bought enough to last a couple years because I was tired of always having to buy it when needed so I wasn’t planning to get any for another year but I picked up another 30 quarts over the last couple days to make sure I can hopefully see this through. Have 2-3 years worth now...

Reusing Oil Filter during Oil Change, but Dumping Old Oil Out?

While it might seem foolish to some to want to save $12-20 on a oil filter for a $100k car you should consider that most of the people that can afford to buy a car like this are in that position because of decisions like this, as the OP said, the small things add up and compound over time. As...

What's the best tool to cut through metal rods?

Yep, hard to beat a angle grinder with zip disc for that. AS Rand said thou, might want to see if the gate is sagging and maybe fix that instead?

Snap-on tool prices are out of sight.

What do they have stamped on the ends? Are there part numbers on the other side of the handles? I've yet to see JIS Snap-On screwdrivers but would like to try them.

Have a part number for that set? Looks like they are all JIS of are there some flats in there?
