ive been putting the hobart 140 through its paces for a year now and it works well once you swap to a real ground clamp. no inverter, just a plain old transformer..

I use vise grip at work quite a bit...both usa and import versions. I have all usa ones at home.. A few weeks ago i received some 7" eagle grips. The malcos are made to a nicer standard than even some old usa ones i have.

wise choice...the lever lincolns are very solid. even better if you have a longer hose made for it

seems like pawl spring pressure is what determines a ratchets lube preference..some like grease, some like oil. motor oil always works well on almost any round head, including sk. super lube does seem to be the best for snap on and most sealed ratchets.

i dont know...i have many jugs of mobil sitting around full of waste oil. some have been around for awhile....i have never seen the label peel like that on any of them.

lowes has a really nice kneeling pad in their ppe section. much thicker and larger than most anything else..

those are nice looking sets, and at a good price for us manufacture.

there is also the factor of whether you want to buy a box that is made in the usa...much like the rest of your tools
