This oil was conventional - “red label” bottle. Mercury does offer a syn blend, it has a white label and states syn blend on the bottle.

Around my property I use it as a fire starter - we have 10 acres and are always burning brush. I pour about a gallon of it on my brush pile and then light with newspaper. BTW, mine always contains a mix of brake fluid and trans fluid too!
