Rotella T-6 synthetic 5W-40 in the last 8 bikes we've owned. No concerns or issues.

The standard DuPont Multi-Use works very well, costs little, and is still available at Lowe's where I shop. Super easy to use, no mess, no dripping. I clean with Varsol or kerosene first, then spray with Multi-Unse Teflon, using a piece of cardboard to make sure none gets on the tire. Reviews...
