    2017 Audi Q7 3.0T - Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30, 2k mi

To fix my oil consumption issue I switched to HPL Euro 0W30 after doing a bottle of yamalube, and BP109 EPR flush. While I know I will need a couple of oil changes before I truly know if the issue is getting better. Are there any opinions on HPL Euro 0W30 vs Valvoline R&P 5w40 (or 0w40)...

    2017 Audi Q7 3.0T - Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30, 2k mi

So first, after all this, I just passed 3,400 km before now being asked to top off the oil. I'll probably do the next oil change at 5K.

So, after all that, I'm 1k kms into the HPL oil, and the oil bar dropped about 10%-15%. From what I've read, I should expect to see a difference until after 3-4 oil changes

    2017 Audi Q7 3.0T - Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30, 2k mi

Okay, here is what I plan to do. Going to run two tanks with yamalube ring free plus. I will do 45 oz for the first tank, and 2.3 oz on the second tank. Once I've run that through, I'm going to do a BG 109 flush. Then once I've drained that, I'll put a new filter and the HPL euro 0w30 oil...

    2017 Audi Q7 3.0T - Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30, 2k mi

I'm curious about if anyone has actually compared Valvoline restore and protect 5W30 to HPL euro 0w30 for their Audi vehicles. I own a 2017 Q7 3.0 tfsi and it consumes oil at least a quart every 1,000 to 1,500 km. I had a carbon cleaning done by the dealer at 116,000 km (new spark plugs) as I...
