In the US fuel quality seems to vary from awful to tolerable. On the common rail Jeep Liberty using the Bosch CP3 pump Chrysler knew US fuel quality was a problem and had the insides of the pump coated with a anti-wear coating for those in the US . That was on 2005/2006 Liberty CRD's. Same...

I've owned watercooled VW's since the late 1970's and every one had a sticker by the coolant bottle indicating what coolant to use. A 2000 takes G12 and the dealers sell it by the Liter bottle that you mix with distilled water.

Newby here and I know this is an old thread BUT I own a 2006 Liberty CRD that I bought new. I follow a very active CRD forum and as they age it's apparent that as many have known all along Chrysler called for the WRONG oil from the git go. These engines in North America are running very high EGR...
