This reminds me of this Donut video I watched at some point:
I'm not saying this experience is relevant to these other rebuild kits, just thought it was a funny experience. I always wonder if I could rebuild a transmission since the parts themselves seem like they'd be relatively cheap and...
I do this too with my Subaru Ascent but only because it takes 4.7 quarts so I always have some leftover 0w-20 I have no use for and figure it gets some use out of it and empties the jug I need to return used oil. Outside of that situation it's probably a waste but if ppl want to that's cool
Rear wheel bearing on 2008 Impala with 214,300 miles on it. Lug nuts were the biggest obstacle and they'll have to be replaced. Got the old hub out just gotta get it reassembled tomorrow
I really like the Outback as it feels more like a sedan but still has the same ground clearance as the Forester. Forester is a little nicer if you're tall and want space inside, but I'm 6'2" and don't feel uncomfortable in the Outback.
Have only bought used, usually higher mileage until my last purchase which was a CPO so I got a warranty and stuff. New would be nice someday but hasn't made financial sense for me
Not sure, I found the thread where I saw the high moly content in but it is Idemitsu high mileage so maybe that's why moly is so high

Did my first change with Pennzoil Platinum 0w20 this week in my Subaru Ascent, seems good so far. Probably just placebo effect but engine seems a little quieter and it does seem as though I gained a little bit of MPG. Also, I really like the yellow bottles, look good on the garage shelves
